A hardware prototype is the first working unit of your product: real parts, real power, a real enclosure. Anvol reads what you describe, works out the cost for free, and has working samples made in rounds by its engineers in Shenzhen. The minimum is one unit.
How it works
Describe it. A few sentences are enough. A concept image, CAD, Gerbers or a BOM help if you have them.
Anvol reviews it. Parts, power, enclosure and what could go wrong, with its engineers checking, before any price.
You get a free estimate. The price for 1, 10 and 100 units where it applies, what is included and excluded, and the expected lead time.
A 30% deposit starts the round. Samples are built, tested against targets and fixed in rounds. You approve the physical sample before the balance is due.
What you get
With the review: review report, block diagram, first draft of the parts list.
With the estimate: estimate, costed parts list, supplier quotes.
Every sample round: schematic, enclosure 3D model (STEP), test report, photos and video.
What this is not
An estimate is not a guaranteed final price or delivery date. A concept image is not proof of fit, safety or manufacturability. No work starts and nothing is charged without your approval.
Questions
Is there a minimum order? No. One prototype is fine.
Does the estimate cost anything? No. You pay only if you approve it.
Do I need CAD or an engineering background? No. Start from a sentence or an image; bring files if you have them.
How long does it take? The estimate states the lead time for your actual scope. Your project page shows the next update date.
Who owns the design? For a Private Build, your project agreement defines it. More answers.
