10 custom lidar robot cars cost $6,500, delivered.

A real build, not a kit. Anvol's engineers in Shenzhen developed a lidar line-following car and built 10 of them for $6,500 in total: a one-time development fee of $5,000, plus 10 cars at $150 each. All amounts are in US dollars.

Kit or custom build?

If you need ten cars for a class and an existing kit does the job, buy the kit: the design already exists, so you pay only for parts. This number is for a car designed for you. Development was $5,000 of the $6,500, which spread over ten cars adds $500 to each one on top of its $150.

What the total does not include

Certification: the device did not go through FCC or CE; that is quoted separately when a product needs it. Shipping and import duties: not in the price, and the customer usually arranges freight once the units leave the factory. Extras such as tutorials, training or a live demo are priced on top.

What if I need 20 or 50?

The $150 is the price for this batch of 10 and should not be stretched to a larger one. The development fee is paid once, so a bigger batch spreads it thinner, but the unit price itself is set for each quantity; Anvol gives the price for 1, 10 and 100 units where it applies. More on this in why a small batch costs so much per unit.

How do I get a number for mine?

Describe it to Anvol in a few sentences; a sketch, a photo of something close or a parts list helps, and so does the quantity you have in mind. Anvol asks what it needs to know, and its engineers cost it from real parts and supplier quotes. Getting a cost is free. A first round can be a single sample; a 30% deposit starts it, and the balance is due after you approve the physical sample.

A cost is not a guaranteed final price or delivery date, and nothing is charged or started without your approval. All three delivered projects · How Anvol works.
